Erm. Why did I not watch it before? Loved it. Also loved Jonathan Rhys-Meyers. I think this is the first time I've seen him in a movie where he wasn't a complete bastard the entire time (ie; Velvet Goldmine and Titus).. and also with his real accent. liekomg. He's apparently going to be in Alexander and The Last Unicorn, both in pre-production at the moment. Yay. Because I now have a JRM fixation. Though it could just be an Irish accent fixation. Must find pretty Irish boyfriend.

Going to bed now. Way past my bedtime.

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Bend it Like Beckham!!!! I saw it 3 times in theaters, I liked it that much! JRM is my secret lover, I've decided. I actually don't mind it when he plays a complete bastard because he does it so well. You should watch the Gormenghast miniseries if you haven't seen that. He's ultra maniacal and power-hungry in that. Soooo great. My JRM fixation isn't based on the accent, because if that were true, I would have a thing for Colin Farrell as well, which is NOT true.

Uhm. Yeah, I didn't even know the character was supposed to be Irish until he said so. His accent sounds a bit odd. Erm. But since JRM is Irish, I guess it's his own accent.
