amezri... my father is trying to sign me up for a health care provider he found out about through spam.

edit: and reading their policies page: Protective SmartHealth PLUS is not health insurance. It is a combination of discount and service programs offered by Protective Marketing Enterprises, Inc., through contracts with or leasing arrangements for service providers and insurance under group policies issued to Protective Marketing Enterprises, Inc
So basically, yeah, you could save 65% on a hospital biil, but if your emergency surgery cost $5,000, you'd still have to pay $1,750 where actual medical insurance could cover nearly all of it.
