father, politics, and unmixy things

Engaging my father in a political discussion is always interesting. Tonight he told me that I was brainwashed by liberals XD Oh, and that the Catholic school system had failed because I am a free thinker and they hadn't brainwashed me into a conservative. No, really. He said "doesn't everyone come out of Catholic school a conservative?" Oy.

And then there was a big bruhaha over the whole Janet thing. Because, really, who cares anymore. I don't. Apparently my fathere is also of the mind that beer and Viagra commercials are okay because they are "approved" and that the same goes for the half-naked football playing models. I see. So if Janet had gotten her boob approved it would be okay. He says yes. Right.

Oh. And some distant relative of John Kerry's was Jewish, so apparently that makes John Kerry "a Jew" whether he is practicing or not and if he becomes President apparently that will lead to the end of all society. Right.

In other news, I've been knitting quite a bit and my scarf is coming out really nice! I hope to have it done by the end of the weekend. Maybe. Heh.

I hate it when people say you are brainwashed just because you disagree with their point of view.

...and the boob thing is as annoying as the Madonna/Christina/Brittany lip lock thing. BIG DEAL! I'm sick of hearing about it. BLARGH!!

I think John Kerry becoming President will lead to the end of all society ... but not cuz he's a Jew! ::snickers and runs away before you beat her with a stick::

Hahahaha!! Well, I'm not really a Kerry supporter, so say whatever you will XD I don't who I support, actually. I thought Clark was pretty good - he looks Presidential at least. heh. It'll be a nice change after having a president who looks like a monkey in every single photo that's been taken of him.
