Just came back from a mall trip. Saw Peter Pan and bought two tan jackets. Whee! I am a dork.

If you don't know the story of Peter Pan, I'm not going to help you. 'Cause, yeah.

Loved the cast. The parrot was creepy. There were a lot of CGI scenes, which is to be expected with the kids flying around like that, but they were done very well.

This review at IMDB.com paints a really bad picture of the film. Screw 'em. This film frocked and yes, it did contain a fair bit of more.. eh.. "mature" humor. So what? I'm not 10 years old anymore and this adaptation was one I could get into. Jeremy Sumpter, who plays Peter, is 3 years younger than my brother so I feel a little more than pervy saying that the kid is a major cutie. If he could avoid the main traps of childhood stardom, I think he might be the next Teen People cover XD

Jason Issacs was fantastic as Hook. Yes... very. Tink was annoying, but, well, she is very small. I liked Slightly, and wish there was more scenes with him.

Uhm, that's all for now. I have to go help with dinner. Anyway. Loved the movie. Definitely a DVDer.

I loved it too, except for the 'I do believe in faires, I do, I do" bit.

Peter Pan was awesome. And I don't feel like a perv because Jeremy Sumpter is actually ten months older than me! Ah, the few benefits of being the youngest person on my friends list.

I liked it too! They could have done the CGI stuff a bit better, but then it is a child's movie and the kids could care less so whatever. Peter Pan was kinda cute in a boyish way but I can see what you mean about him becoming the next teen star. I like the adaptation, it was closer to the book than most of the animated stuff but then I havent actually read the book in ages.

The CGI stuff wasn't too bad. I mean, it wasn't like.. Matrix: Revolutions obvious. XD
