yay.. job

So I have a job again. All I had to do was come in and write down when I was free. Still don't know why I couldn't do that over the phone. Seems a bit daft to me. Anyway, I mistakenly wrote down that I could work any day during any shift, but would like to have Saturday or Sunday off if possible. Which means they probably won't give it to me. But I'm so broke right now that I don't think I really care. In any case, the new store seems more relaxed and less depressing to work in. Then again, I know what kind of people live in the area so.. *shrug*

So.. starting tomorrow I'm shelving from 7am-11am. How painful exciting.

Oh and to add to the fun, my father's home. Yay. *strangles him*

Going to go bake banana nut bread and clean my room. Because my room is a sty.

Lastly: picked up the Jan 2004 issue of Empire. Very nice RotK type things inside. Yes, preciousss.

Probably they wanted it for your personnel file. (Why my boss told me to e-mail her with the news that I'd be out a day to attend a funeral after I'd already told her face-to-face.)

Maybe they needed it in your file to start the paperwork for bringing you back onto the payroll or something. Advance paperwork is what I'm thinking -- something they needed before you could properly start.

Ah, well, the point is that you're employed again.
