matrix: revolutions

amezriSaw Chardo at the mall! :D Which reminds me I need to talk to Mike, who I haven't seen since that week I spent at his house working on the Terps DVD >_< That was like... in June. And I hear he actually did finish the DVD. But I say, where is my copy?!
Uhm... so yeah, I finally saw it. Matrix. The big bruhahaha. Ha. Ha. I wasn't thrilled with it, but at least the company was good.

"Matrix: Revolutions" was definitely better than "Matrix: Reloaded." Having said that... neither one is better than the first one. Matrix films should only be fight sequences and shit blowing up XD I liked the CG work in the third film - very nice. I would guess that over two-thirds of the Zion vs. the machines fight was CG, but it looks a hell of a lot better than Reloaded, where anyone could tell what was CG. The final Neo vs. Smith fight was a little Dragon Ball Z, but it was still superior to the Neo/Smith fight in Reloaded, which was a little over the top. Okay, this one was over the top too, but at least it looked cool. Oh. The speeches. Meh. I could have done without. They were all a bit long-winded. Then ending. I get it. The Deus Ex Machina used Neo as a carrier to deliver and anti-virus of sorts to destroy the Smith virus. Right? Right? Yeah.
Was I supposed to care that Trinity dies? Because... I didn't...
Things that sucked: Really long dialog sequences. All the flashing that could give someone a seizure. I think there was an editing glitch during the Neo/Smith fight.
Things that kicked ass: fight choreography, most of the editing, cinematography. all the visual effects. Seraph. Niobe. GINA TORRES.

[edit: Oh, I forgot to say.. there was no Troy trailer! WTF? I need my Orlando fix :-P]
You know... watching that made me want to see "Volcano High" again, because that was highly amusing and had cheap effects. And it also made me think about that stupid film Mike and I made for Digital Video last year. So.. I'm posting a link to it. Any one who hasn't seen it yet, get ready to laugh. You'll need RealPlayer to view. Uh.. and really, just view the trailer 'cause the rest ofit sucks ^_^*

Man, how much crack was I one when I wrote that tagline?
Tomorrow... I wanna go somewhere... but probably can't 'cause I have to do some shopping and cleaning before my trip >_< Plus, Debbie's new hair salon is opening and we have to attend - mom bought a big plant to bring her and everything :-P But it's cool 'cause she knows how to cut my hair. Hah.

I thought Niobe kicked ass, but I was sad when Trinity died. I also could have done with a little less conversation, a little more action. All the critics hated it, but I thought it was pretty good.
