Nov. 7th, 2003 04:54 pmToday must be flash animation day as I got IMed quite a few links and then found a few more on my own.

wastednickle: The End of the World (the only gripe with this one... why do the Chinese have a Japanese flag? >_<)
and from Mike: The $20,000 Zig (All Your Smurf)
And anyone remember the really cool flash animation with the stick figures recreating fight scenes from kungfu movies? Well, Zhu_Zhq's put up a website: XiaoXiao Movie - 1-8 are up there for viewing and download. Highly recommend 3, 7, and 8.
You can find XiaoXiao No. 9 here. I wonder when he's going to finish it so it will no longer be a demo.
Want to see a disturbing CGI video? Check out the purple hippo dancing to the Thong Song. While rather creepy, the motions in the model kick ass. Looks like.. Maya? Maybe SoftImage. I dunno.
In movie news:Underworld 2 writer/director Len Weisman talks to MovieHole.net about a sequel and some cool things on the DVD. One thing I'm not liking... We wanted something cold and creepy. In fact, it doesn't look as blue on the DVD. Because of digital timing we couldn't quite get the right look of the colours we wanted for the film. The DVD is a lot different from the print. Uh... what?! I liked the blue :-/ I hope he's just being hyper-critical and just means there's a slight shift. If there is a huge shift from the blue, I will be cranky.
