So after I booked ass out of my house because I discovered I was late to work... I was immediately given a display to setup. It took me all freakin' night. Gah. Thankfully I was only scheduled until 11, otherwise I would probably still be there cleaning up :-P Next weeks schedule is brutal.. but it's pretty much my last week at work. I'm not sure if I'm going to be scheduled on Monday or Tuesday the week after. But.. yeah... two more weeks and I'm off to NZ! Yippee!

On the plus side of work... I did find (and buy) Alan Cumming's book Tommy's Tale. Wheee! And it was the trade paper and so only cost me $9. I was stoked. Heh.

Right now I'm going through and adding a few icons. I really don't think I would ever hit the 50 mark. Maybe 30, but 50 is excessive. Really. Eesh. I'm only at 20 or so and I've run out of icons I want to upload. Heh.

Mmm.. icons...

I thought about it in a comment convo in my LJ a few days ago and predicted that I'll hit about thirty in terms of "categories," slots that I rotate icons in and out of, with the other twenty-odd being gradually taken up over time with those icons I like so much I'm reluctant to rotate them out (like this rainbow foot X-ray, or the Lilith pic where the hair looks like mine, or my tattoo, or that Pippin animation I made from the first RotK trailer I downloaded). So far I've got 23 or 24, with ideas for another few slots to fill the next time I'm on LJ at home...

I haven't figured out what I'm going to do with all my slots.. but definitely not going to fill 50 O.o

I counted the icons in my main LJ icons folder last week when pondering the issue and got something like 398. And that was just the main folder -- not the Wolvie icons or dragons or LotR icons. Many of them I've never even used -- because I just never liked them quite enough for when I only had ten slots. I think I'll manage to gradually fill the fifty -- though I'll do more rotating through the existing slots than creating new ones. I'm already bored with some of the ones I've been using -- and planning to replace them rather than to add on.
