work; links; aol got broke
Sep. 17th, 2003 12:22 amStayed an extra hour at work today because.. meh.. people called in sick. So, yeah. But I was a good employee and offered myself for an extra hour to help out :D And my reward? One of the new people at orientation took my October 2nd shift! Wheee! So now I can go see
trippininabox at Marist! Woohoo!
And Info was actually decent today. Busy, but not too much so. If all days were like that, I wouldn't despise working Info so much.
Ghetto-est redneck case mod evah. Word. (snurched from
pgnblade)
Dido's White Flag video featuring David Boreanaz. He's so sketchy XD (lo quality video here for dial-up)
And the semi-frequent Tom!Pimpage: watch the Karaoke Soul video. Because I said so and because it rocks.
Right, so I just went on a little 2-hour detour.. because my father is an idiot and opens every piece of spam mail he gets. Either his computer or my brother's computer now has a Tojan on it that's spamming from the AOL account. It's not my frelling machine since I don't even have AOL on my fecking computer. It only slightly bothers me because I'm still communicating with someone on eBay about an auction. If I weren't, I wouldn't care. Anyway, yea.. so we spent two hours on the phone getting the accounts back up as well as switching to AOL Broadband -- because the woman didn't understand that Road Runner is part of Time Warner cable and was trying to charge me $24/month on top of the $45/month for Road Runner. Uhm, no. So I explained it all and got the $54/month AOL-Road Runner thingy. Tomorrow I have to call Road Runner and find out about our main account password... because I have lost the paper and have no idea what the username is, let alone the password. ::looks:: Yeah, I don't know where the flying frell that paper is. Will likely have to dig out an account statement too. Joy. I called my father -- waking him up *snerk* -- to tell him not to use his machine until I can check it over. I think he has Win2000, so Norton INS should go on okay. That bitchis going to be so firewalled and tied down, it's not even funny. Now, if I could just remember the Administrator password...
I think I'm going to read some fic before I go to bed.
