Didn't feel like writing about yesterday yesterday, so I shall write about yesterday today :-P

Work went by so fast - because everyone and their mother was in the store sipping tea and coffee and leaving crap all over the store >_< Thankfully, I was working with people who were actually doing work. Chatted with Music!Boy about Dragon*Con. He goes to actually participate in CCG tournaments. I go to meet people and view costumes and panels. Meh. The MOD talked to me about possibly transfering to the new store, which would be fab since it's only 3min from my house - I have to drive about 20min now. The only thing is he asked me if I would be able to move to a lead position, which I can't since I'm already freaking when I have over 20 hours - full time will kill me. I did say that I could work more hours on the holidays and maybe that means something since I will be back in time for Christmas rush. Uh... yay? But if I could move there, that would rock.

While at work, I discovered Damien Rice, who is a bit David Grey, a bit Jeff Buckley, and made me want to go home and listen to Tom McRae and Grant Lee Phillips. Cannot decide if I am going to download his stuff or blow money on the actual CD. Maybe I can win the in-store give away :-P

Had an Alias moment while I was at the register: someone's total was $47.74 *snerk* Well, I was amused at least.

Closing the store.. oy. Stuff was everywhere. I did magazines and then helped clean the cafe. Was supposed to do reshelves, but the MOD asked, so I went. Sort of helped do the garbage and then swept the floor. No big deal. We got out at 11:30pm. Hurrah.

Got home and started working on removing a watermark from an image. It's coming along surprisingly well - can't tell the watermark was even there unless you look *really* carefully.

I thought we were supposed to go out today, but there were arguments and now mom is locked in the guest room -_-;; I guess I'll just do my own thing for now.

Some news for the morning:

+ Bennifer split up. *snerk* Who didn't see that coming especially after the "Gigli" debacle.

+ Instead of sueing people, Universal Records is cutting CD prices to increase sales.

damien rice is fab! i heard him on npr a couple months back, and loved him! i however have not bought his cd, as fye is charging an exorbant price for it. however, i may order it from amazon just so i have it...

the only grant lee philips i ever heard was his stuff on Witchblade tv series that Conchobar sung. what is the rest of his stuff like?
