B&N was crazy busy today. It was as if anyone who thought about going on Saturday & Sunday decided to go today. I was answering 3 lines while helping 4 people. And yay, we got that Al Franken book in, as well as the stupid South Beach Diet. There was slight geekiness as I was looking for "Troika" books and held a book for Grimes. Heh.

In other news, my host is still down. They're having trouble with some host or another, so yes.. all still down. *kicks them* They say they have back-ups from yesterday, so worst-case I'll need to reupload the forms for Ordinary Muppet. I've got everything on back-up except for the forums at number96.net. Best not to look at any of it now, lest I blow a gasket. That reminds me.. I need to backup the RP...

People who have the TTT DVD: I hate you all. Mine won't come in for another fews days with my Alias set. And.. somehow I even doubt their arrival since I'm missing now two packages that should have been here today. *stabs mailman* Oh, but of course my loan repayment things got delivered okay. Pfft.

Day off tomorrow = YAYYY!!!! And the week ending September 13th I'm only scheduled for 26 hours and I have Sunday off. Yaaaayyyy!

Off to get dinner and maybe watch some TV..

I know that you can apply if you are 16, but they are only likely to hire you if you are 18. Always worth a try though ^_^

I also work at B&N, and I know we have recently had a 17-year-old working in our cafe. It didn't work out, though; as soon as he started his senior year of high school, he put in his two week notice, because he was just so busy with school and homework and activities. That's why most B&N stores are leery to hire anyone under 18, though they usually work well with college students.

If it makes you feel any better, I only just ordered my copy of TTT today. (Of course, I've had my bootleg DVD since April, so it's really only the extras I'm waiting on, and I've never been one to spend that much time on the extras. Only ever listened to the commentary tracks of the FotR: EE once apiece for the actors and the directors, I am shamed to admit, and still haven't gone through the extra disks completely.)

The extras are why I buy DVDs :) Otherwise bootlegs would be enough for me. Heh. But like you, I haven't made it all the way through the FotR: EE commentaries ^_^*

Yeah, I admit they're a major reason for swapping from VHS format to DVD. And I love the commentaries you can get. Now if I just got around to upgrading my Win DVD so I could take screengrabs of my DVDs, I'd be really thrilled...
