Glargh. For some reason my webserver is saying I don't have MySQL abilities when, very clearly, that is a stated feature of the Ensim panel. *kicks them* ::opens help desk ticket:: So annoying.

.. oh you fuck. Now it works. I've spent the last 30 minutes figuring out why the hell it wouldn't work. And now it does and I've gotten a reply from my administrator that basically makes it look like I'm an idiot who doesn't know how to change a password.

btw - work tomorrow? So not looking forward to it. I am unamused that I am scheduled every day and for two Sundays when I said I could work every day EXCEPT gorram Sunday! Any day, anytime, except Sunday. I think that really is the least I can ask for, isn't it? I am so refusing to work any Sunday evenings when Alias starts. People will die if I work Sundays @ 9. Just. One. Day. Also.. I'm freakin part time. Two people who work full time have already commented on how many hours I work and they can't believe I am there all the time. *sigh* I can't believe it either. *grumble*

The trick now is to somehow enforce the fact that I cannot work sundays without telling them I want it off to watch TV... I suspect I'll end up watching tapes, since the managers don't seem to care too much about when I can't and can't work :-P

Just tell them that you won't be available on Sundays, and if they call you to work on those days, don't always say yes. :) It's hard, cause you want the money and want to be dependable and likeable and all that stuf, but remember, you don't have to tell them why you can't work.

*nods* I think at the end of the month or mid-September I'm going to tell the woman who makes the schedules that I will not be available Sundays. Hell, if the other kiddies get all sorts of days off, I think I should be allowed a Sunday, part-timer that I am.
