For anyone else who was annoyed with the AIM 5.2 Beta bugs, the 5.2 Final has been released and can be downloaded here. This version does work with DeadAIM 4.0, but you'll need to close AIM and run the repair tool.

GAAAAAHHH! There are moths all over the house! *swats them* I hate moths.

I want a new cellphone that can either download ringtones or has a ringtone composer. Because I'm a geek and want geeky ringtones. The Nokias are nifty... but none of them are coded for Verizon and I heard the reception on those suck anyway.

I should go to bed...

Can I just say how frickin' relieved I was to be able to type in my regular font after bolding, underlining, italicizing or pasting a URL? What a pain in the ass that font changing was.

Were there any other bugs that were as annoying, or was that it?

There were smaller bugs, I think. But that was definitely the most annoying. I'm so glad it's fixed.

I'm currently cellphone shopping now -- or rather, online-browsing so that I've had time to ponder and research and will hopefully wind up making a good choice when I have the cash spare to make the swap rather than jumping on the first pretty thing I see. I've already got a Nokia and I get that $50 trade-in credit but I'm not having phone cost be a factor I consider because my current phone has lasted three years so if I'm keeping a phone that long I want a good one and won't quibble over price. And I can even keep my current number so long as I get one that AT&T Wireless will handle...

So I'm wanting one I can check e-mail with and hook up to a laptop to get mobile internet access. This model is the current front-runner in terms of what I'm wanting -- color display, downloadable ring tones, multimedia messaging, wireless modem, etc.

oooh yes. Nokias are very good phones. Samsung phones are also very good and pretty affordable :)

You're right about the reception thing, though. But at least there are lots of fun accessories available...
