'nother lazy morning

It's too early to be awake. I got up around 8am... except I didn't go to bed until 3am.

Everyone is switching over to the S2 style system and the new Component style. I must say it's super-slick, but... will resist the urge to jump on the bandwagon. Yes I will... Maybe I'll just switch the NZtrip community over so at least I can say I've used it. Ah, nevermind. It doesn't work for free users. And I tried implementing S2 but it wouldn't take and looked all wrong so.. screw it.

United sent me one of their "special prices" e-mails that I hardly ever look at. On a whim, I opened it and I see cheap-ish flight to Australia and London. The only issue: travel dates. For Sydney, you have to leave between 18 August and 21 August and return between 25 August and 28 August. At best that gives you 10 days there. 10 days?! Sheesh. On the London deal you get 8 days at most, which isn't as bad I guess.

People need to stop calling me and not talking. Dave dialed my cellphone twice yesterday and all I heard was weird music and conmputer-y machine noises. He does it on purpose, mind you. It's annoying as all hell. Just now someone called and pounded on the buttons when I answered. GLARGH.

Gonna go watch some more Brisco County and then Xena. I think they're showing "Lyre, Lyre, Hearts of Fire" today. Whee! Have heard interesting things about it.

You know.. I should be making things like websites and graphics... meh. Maybe later.

I'm pondering the S2 style as well. Given the bitch it was for a CSS-ignorant neophyte like myself just to get my LJ set up (and it's still in a very primitive form, not too far from the plain pre-packaged settings), I know that I'd have to sit down and experiment for a while to get the new style set up. I'm wondering if I care enough to bother with it. Maybe one of these nights when I'm looking for something to do while I'm procrastinating about something else...
