amezriGot back from work awhile ago. Orientation at B&N was really, really, long. Longest training I've had for a job, other than the Help Desk, but that was all tech stuff and the week training was sort of necessary. Anyway, went over company stuff, policies, all that boring stuff. Filled out paper work and got a store tour. Nothing too exciting. iambliss a few times, which was of the good ^_^ Didn't get chance to say goodbye as she was counting money at the register and we were being shuffled off. I have.. so many more hours than I thought I was going to have o.< I've been scheduled again for Thursday & Friday and in two weeks, I'm up for 5 shifts, about 6 hours each. Yeowch. :;think of the money. think of the money::
Found out my computer decided to dump my USB adapter, so I had to restart and fiddle. Argh. Fixed it, had dinner. The meatloaf I made this afternoon was pretty tastey, even reheated. Watched the end of some movie my mom was watching.
Cancelled my PotC torrent since I might be getting it another way, so forget about the stupid burning and stuff :-P There has to be something wrong with my Dead Like Me download, though... it's saying 8879 hours. Hours. ::restarts it:: Oh good, now it says 8 hours. That's... better.
I need to go to bed, but I really want to win that skull watch from eBay. Ah, screw it. I'll just bid on it right before I go to bed and leave it. There are a couple more up for auction in the next week, so.. whatever. I need sleep.
