Brand new VAST! 10 songs from the Turquoise album are available for download here. Only $2.99. Wheeee! I can't wait for an actual album with liner notes and stuff ^_^ Thank you, Jon!
Glargh. Farscape Vol 3.3 is out already. I'm only up to Vol 2.2 in the DVDs >_< Must catch up! But at $30 a set, I can't really afford to. Argh.
My cousin is trying to convince me that The Hulk is the best Marvel film to date. Meh. We'll see. I'm still not happy with the CG. Looks too.. CG. It could have used more texture. When you hae CG with live action, it needs to be grainy and dirty. Yeah, I'm not CG modeller, but I know what looks right. Super-clean CG next to people and various textures will not look right. Ever.
Will: Best of all the recent Marvel flicks.
Will: Without a doubt.
Scifi 1701D: Really?
Will: I liked Spidey and X2 and all--
Will: But when I saw those...
Will: I didn't sit there and ever go...
Will: "whoa"
Scifi 1701D: Not even during the opening Nightcrawler scene?
Will: Too camera pan-y
Will: It was "ooh"
Will: But not...
Will: "whoa"
Scifi 1701D: I. See..
Will: No, seriously.
Scifi 1701D: I dunno. The CG just didn't impress. It was too cartoony.
Will: Well, call me when you can do better then, eh? We'll do lunch.
Feh.

Date: 2003-06-21 01:28 am (UTC)I agree with you. It looks far too clean to me. From the little bits I've seen, it looks like they've almost smoothed out all the CG or something. Gah. No thank you.
And for the record, the Nightcrawler opening scene in X2 didn't make me go "Ooh" it was more like "Fucking PHWOAR, man!!!"Re:
Date: 2003-06-24 11:07 am (UTC)I'm trying to convince my mom to go see X2 so I can see that opening sequence again XD
