Just had a geek girl afternoon. Watched Xena "For Him the Bell Tolls" with Karl Urban and Craig Parker, aka Eomer and Haldir of LoTR. Karl is so much hotter as Cupid. ^_^ Just finished watching Two Guys & a Girl with Nathan Fillion and Tony Head guest starring. Capt. Tightpants! *hee*

I got my Painkillers Ep in the mail today. Loving it so far. It has the acoustic version of "Goodbye" that I've been looking for, too.

The stupidest things make me happy.

I remember that ep aired when I was a full-on Giles fangirl, and on the mailing lists I was on we eagerly anticipated that show, and bitterly regretted the placement of the knickknacks blocking the relevant areas on both the painting and the actor -- and wondered what the hell was up with his accent in that show!

I think that was Tony Head's real accent though, wasn't it? I can't remember...

No, he was possibly trying to fake an American accent with limited success, or so we concluded after watching. He's British, and that episode is not how he normally speaks.

.. I thought he had a British accent in that episode? ::scratches head:: I don't remember it too well. I do remember him (or James Marsters) saying that his accent is closer to the one that Spike has.

It's been a long time since I watched it, but I was hanging online with the group that obsessed over every singly ASH appearance. So yeah, it wasn't his normal accent. But his natural accent is indeed more Spike-ish than Giles-like.
