X-Men 2 - Take 3

amezriWent with Ted & Dave this time. Was fun. Except... people in the movie theaters are damn annoying. Here are some tips to avoid me kicking your ass:
1) Open your damn bags of snacks before the film. Also, if you are unable to open the bag on first attempt, give up. Or at least try again during the loud parts of the film. Waiting until it's quiet to crinkle plastic will result in your physical injury.
2) Children. Children should be kept tied to a chair or not brought at all. If they run up and down the aisle too many times, I become very prone to tripping them.
3) Coughing waves. One person coughs and a dozen people follow. It's damn annoying.
In other news, X2 Blooper Reel. I want this stuff on the DVD, damn it.
And spoilery stuff, including settling the Did Jean marry Scott thing...
Nightcrawler's bamfing amazes me to no end. It's so damn cool! I would pay money to watch that scene over and over and over....
So.. pacing is still a little tedious the third time around, but not too bad, 'cause I knew when stuff was going to get good.
Jean & Scott = NOT married. Jean in fact says "They marry the good guy," not "I married the good guy." Yeah, beacuse I'm anal. I saw no ring. She is referred to as "Dr. Grey" or "Ms. Grey."
And this just in from the bloopers: Logan then tells her he saved her a spot next to him and she says, if he didn't mind she wants to be next to her fiance.
Kitty does not annoy me as much, but the actress is still unsatisfying.
Says Ted during Wolverine's berserker rage at the mansion: "He just crossed the line into serial killer now."
Jubileeeee! Why did they have to throw her down the well? And she was in both films and not one visual of her power! ::feels cheated::
I can't remember anything else. Had some X1 observations from the viewing last night, but I can't remember them right now. Gotta go get food. And print more stuff. Oy.

Date: 2003-05-10 08:45 pm (UTC)Not so. Serial killers kill one or two people at a time over a long period of time. Mass murderers kill a bunch of people during the course of one event. Logan in the mansion is a mass murderer, not a serial killer, although technically, since he is defending the children in his care as well as himself, it's not murder. ;-)
