Angel 4.14: Release

amezriTonight's play-by-play commentary. And also.. they stole a line from my poem!

Eee! Still loving Faith.
Someone better figure out that there's no way Cordy can be that pregnant. The timeline is all screwy.
Eee! Wes took faith home! ^___^ Ah, the possibilities. Oh, and of course the gratuitous strip scene. And Faith flipping out in the shower - see, I knew she wasn't quite as stable as she pretends/wants to be.
Yet another dopey Angelus & the boys scene, only amusing due to the Vast song ("Here") that was playing in the background.
The Angel/Verizon commercial. Lamelamelamelamelame.
Disembodied voice saying, "where it's warm and soft." Um. Okay. Evil!Cordy using the voice changer device thingy. And her poor, poor acting. Also, the manipulating of Connor into not telling them about the baby... especially when Evil!Cordy tells him that the baby is growing fast and the gang might kill it. Yeah. I'd kill it too.
Faith is gonna crack again.
Of course Angelus has an anti-spell charm (that was made in China...). Why do they even bother? Also, Fred with the spine - rather interesting, especially when she smashed a conveniently empty vase over his head. Someone needs to stop handing Fred projectile weapons. I actually, wasn't expecting Connor to be deflected by the spell, but:
Scifi 1701D: he's a demon. lol
queenmaabus: that was funny
OzW 703: angelus knew that would happen
EyE2eYe18: i wonder if faith can hit in there?
OzW 703: he didn't even flinch
EyE2eYe18: since the slayer power is part demon

queenmaabus: we might find out...she's gotta go there sooner or later, right?
Love the fact that Faith wasn't sure what to do about Wes and even goes to check on him once Angel drops him and scales the walls. Faith's trying hard to do the right thing and not hurt anymore people, but Wes is trying to get her back to her old vicious self.
queenmaabus: does EVERYONE have to suck at shooting?!?
EyE2eYe18: guess they don't teach target practice in slayer school
Angelus and glasses. I am amused. I don't like the Voice. Is annoying and stupid. Also, with the "my sweet" stuff? Just weird.
Fred/Gunn. Go away. No more. Have been tortured enough. It's dead and you have no chemistry.
Wes. Gun. (not Gunn) So hot.
Connor trying to vamp is amusing. And Cordy takling to him about being part demon was nice, until she mentioned the daddy thing. Ew.
Faith is going soft and letting people go... and Wes jams a knife in the junkie's shoulder as Faith stands in shock and then goes to help her. We see something wrong here?

I agree with this point. Because Angel helped her find a sort of solace even after everything she did, she's reluctant to give up on him so easily. He showed her that she could be.. not as angry. She's clinging to that, the last bit of humanity she has. She doesn't want to become the raging killer that she was.
"Uh oh, vampire with a gun." Yeah, that's exactly what I'm thinking. Again, Angelus likes to play head games - taunting Faith into a rage. Except, she's not letting him and she's getting the crap kicked out of her. Until Angelus takes the time for his trademark speeches and gives her a chance to catch her breath and stab him. And, hey! The shards phrasing! I wrote a poem about Faith using that phrasing! (read it here)

"I did what I had to do because you couldn't." - Wesley to Faith

Next week: Willow "returns to the WB." And Faith dies, but then returns, so this means.. we get three Slayers now?

It was quite comical, but Cordi found no less than three excuses to mention in that episode that he was eighteen. What was so amusing was that they had never mentioned his age before that point, and they really have no way of knowing what his age really is, yet they mentioned it several times. Obviously this was done so that no one would bitch that Cordie was boinking a minor! LOL! I just had to share this with you all. Hope you don't mind!!
