amezriYet another reason why I'm embarassed to be an American: Lawmakers struck a lunchtime blow against the French and put "freedom fries" on the menu. And for breakfast they'll now have "freedom toast." (full article)
First of all.. they're not even really French. This is just dumb and unnecessary. Are we going to shut down all French restaurants and start deporting residents of French origin?
If that's not bad enough, The Mirror is reporting that Bush won't even show up for a speech if he's not guaranteed a standing ovation.
In other news, I have a load of work to do, but don't want to do any of it. Surprise, surprise. Also, think I might go and rework some of my icons.
