On the whole, this episode felt really empty. Aside from the bits of entertainment provided by Xander, Anya, Andrew, and Giles, I was pretty disappointed. The Warren/Willow storyline was a little too contrived and seemed like a very convenient way to get Tara out of the way and Willow & Kennedy to get their slash on. I did like seeing Warren around though, so *shrug*
Speaking of... Andrew standing up to Warren - nice. Very nice.
Been hearing about the possibility of First!Giles for a bit, so it was cool to see the gang picking up on it - and then tackling poor Giles in the desert. I'm glad he's alive and not evil (as far as we know) but where are the girls?
The B-story - Spike's chip, Buffy slowly falling for him, calling Riley, breaking into the Initiative and only running into one demon, the predictable save by the army boys. And the choice: repair or remove?
Best Line: "You think I'm evil if I bring a group of girls on a camping trip and don't touch them?" - Giles
Also, the passed on comment from Riley refering to Spike as "Ass Face" was amusing. Wonder how Riley rose in the ranks so fast that he can give orders like that.
