amezriWelp, I'm back. actually, I got back an hour ago, but I've been checking e-mail and making som.. er.. tiny purchases on Amazon.com ^_^** Just got "Snow White: A Tale of Terror" and "Snow White: Fairest of them All," both kind of twisted retellings of the Grimm version of the tale (as opposed to the fluffy bunny Disney version. blech).
Friday was pretty uneventful. Watched Firefly and the mangled Mandarin once again detracted from my enjoyment of the snow as during a particularly dramatic scene, all I could do was point and laugh at the poor pronunciation. *shrug*
Saturday was a little better, except for the expected yelling and ranting by my father. We went to Crossgates and I got some sweaters from Express, using the nifty $15 coupon I was sent in the mail. Mom kinda volunteered me for a student Express card account, to save an extra 15% -_-;; Great, now I'm $70 in debt. Heh. I drove to Lee's Market, and was almost plowed over at the circle thing. Erm, those of you from the Latham area should know what I'm talking about. That traffic circle is so confusing and the 6 gagillion white lines and white signs are really not helpful. Saturday night we all (yeh, all..) went to Gibbons to see the play. It was "South Pacific" this year and there were actually people who could sing. Mmkay, so it was only the female leads (Nellie and Bloody Mary) and the boys were way out of their own range and were terrible actors... heh. The one guy who was any good was the boy who played Billis (last name Dikeman..?) - so funny. They all kept missing their cues, so I fear for their lives come Monday morning when Mr. Maguire chews 'em all out. *g* Got to see a few of my old teachers: Mrs. A, Mrs. Neidl, Dr. O'Brien, Mr. Maguire. It was cool. Heh.
Today we went to Emperor's for dim sum and then Hannaford to pick some stuff up. I actually drove back to Oneonta. Go me! *g* And now it's time for me to do some cleaning and unpacking. Might throw in a movie and work on my sculpture before Alias tonight.
