More Siggraph tales...
Jul. 25th, 2002 11:32 amHmm, okay, so what has happened since I last posted... a lot since apparently that was Sunday.
The Exhibition was kinda cool. I went back several times to get loads of free stuff. Whee! Free stuff. ILM and Blizzard were kind of not cool as I didn't have a resume or demo reel or anything to offer them. I tried to pawn off my business cards, but that didn't go so well. But.. yeah, free stuff. And course catalogs from some other computer art schools.
Tuesday we went to the Electronic theater. There were some cool short films - like the Polygon Family. Very hilarious. The set was pretty good, so I now own the Siggraph 2002 Electronic Theater DVD. Whee. I might browse the site some more and see what other goodies I may purchase. Too bad they are all $60 a pop. Ugh.
Gonna go to the "Making of Reign of Fire" program in a few. Should be cool. I think we might go see that movie on Friday. There's also a Behind the Mask: Spider-Man thing tonight that should be entertaining. Huzzah.
I am so sick of this city.
