It's that time of year again...

amezriYes, that's right. The 2002 MTV Movie Awards were last night. Don't worry if you missed it. It'll most likely be shown 50 times, a dozen this weekend alone I bet. Hosting this year was provided by Sarah Michelle Gellar and Jack Black. Most of you know that I'm not of fan of Ol' Sarah Michelle, but... she was actually pretty entertaining. And hey - can't beat a musical number titled "Movies Kick Ass" with popcorn dancing in the background.
Highlight 1: Orlando Bloom winning Best Breakthrough Performance and giving that speech with an Irish accent. *swoon* Go forth and download the MP3. Hellz yeah.
Highlight 2: Ewan McGregor. Holy GAH. He was wearing some kind of sleeveless sweater tech-vest type thing, jeans, and sneakers. His hair was messy and spiked up and, damn, didn't think a guy could look that good in purplish-blue eyeshadow. Anyone know where I can get screen caps or press pics? Thankfully, we were treated to much Ewan - he presented an award (to Nicole, I think) and he and Nicole also won Best Musical Sequence. They were both a little bitter that they lost Best Kiss to two guys ^_~
On a different note, doesn't this bust of Spike look like a weird cross between James and Ripper?

Plus we stopped at Tweed Mall on the way home THEN Mum had to do the groceries as well. *rolls eyes* God, SO glad to be home...
