Work yesterday was all right. I was definitely just thrown in to the middle of stuff because they're hort staffed as people are out with the flew. Which, you know, was all right, but whoa. Unsupervised on my second day! XD Am teh amused. I've finally gotten my own e-mail account and user profile... but haven't used either yet.

After work, I headed to the bank and then called my health insurance about not having gotten my statement this month. They told me that all statements are late because NY told them that they couldn't charge the new premium and they had to roll back to what they were charging in 2005. So everyone is getting a credit and they have to reprint statements. Ha! I say. Ha! That's what you get for trying to gouge anouth $50/month out of people who are on your plan because they are broke.

In other new, the insurance offer by my job isn't much less per month, but a) I'll be making more and b) it covers dental and vision, so, that's a plus. On the the downside, they really gouge on the mental therapy costs and their copay is higher than what I have now. meh. I need the dental.

After that, I headed over to thebigfatman and pgnblade's. I'd only intended to pick up the Serenity DVD to get is signed at ICON, but was invited to stay for dinner (Ruby Tuesdays!) and then shopping at Target and... to watch Baseketball. Uhm. That was interesting. Amusing, but. Yeah. Those South Park boys....

Okay, I seriously can not go to bed after 11pm. I do not get enough sleep to have to wake up at 6am to get dressed & ready for work without rushing. Because I am rushing right now and shouldn't be typing, but I am an LJ addict! :x

So. Much. Fic. I want to read. Don't have time and just stuck them in my del.icio.us as ToBeRead. This includes the lastest Three Fates, which I am dying to read liekomgrightnow. *pout*

At some point, I want to do this meme queenmaab posted. I'm meeting her tonight for dinner and to see The Libertine :D

I'm at skip=340. Dude.

Work was good. I think I need to bring an MP3 player or something because OMG no one really talks while they're working. But I will maybe wait a couple days to get settled? Maybe next week. I dunno. I still have no user profile, which makes me sad. I want to be able to put shiny things on my desktop! Uhm, at work today someone threw out my lunch ;__; It was in a black take-away container and I'd written my name and the date in silver Sharpie. When I went for lunch, I saw two other black containers, but couldn't find mine -- one of the girls their checked the garbage and it was in the can. *woe* I was very sad and only have peanut butter sandwich crackers for lunch. Who does shit like that?

queenmaab wasn't feeling well today, so we didn't do the movie thing. It's okay, though, I came home and got some stuff done. Birds of Prey for eye1eye18 and I'm on Roar 3/5 for alorarose. I also, -- finally -- glued my SG-2 patch to the velcro for Saturday's outfit.

Speaking of ICON, I had a look at the schedule during lunch today. Holy frack. We are so much busier than I'd originally thought :x

Gonna read Three Fates and then head to bed.
