Spent yesterday at queenmaab's. Good time as always. Met her sister and Kori came by later. I finished jen_ella's Gryffindor scarf. Will need to take pictures before I pack it up and mail it out tomorrow. I also tried making some cellphone danglies aka azn chains. They came out all right once I figured out how to tie that stupid knot. We watched all three Indian Jones films and a couple episodes of The Office (UK version). QM made yummy pasta dishes for lunch & dinner :D

Before I left, we caught part of an episode of Project Runway, which I'm hopelessly addicted to. I keep missing the episode where they get invited to a party with the first season cast and Jay tells someone he hopes they lose. Who did he say that to?! Anyway, I left partway through the reunion special since I'd already seen it... uh... three times. BUT it cracks me up every time. The montage of Santino impersonating Tim is the greatest ever. Uhm. David Franco scares me. In the way that I'm sort of scared for Heidi's safety. Ooo.. there is a Project Runway shop! Some of the designer's shirts are cute. I like Diana's and Daniel V's shirt says, "Free Tim Gunn" XD Zulema's shirt is as lame as her other designs.

Oh for the love of... this is not what I wanted to see first thing in the morning. Well, okay, not first thing, but I certainly didn't want to see it at all. My former boss is in the freaking paper. In fact, she has a huge feature in today's Life section. Fraking loon. I like the part that says, "she has sold more than 8 million beads." Yeah, I'm sure, because I counted several thousand of them.

Glargh. But on to more pleasant things.

If you have not yeat read it, go and read Postcards From the Other Side by fan_this (who also makes lovely icons and wallpapers). Really excellent and a wee bit depressing... but must be seen.

pgnblade & thebigfatman left a little while ago. It was nice having them over. Hopefully the scariness of all the crap in my room didn't... scare them. pgnblade got the new graphics card in and it works soooo much better. Now I just need to install Photoshop so I can do graphics work again. Oh. And... I need to tweak the color settings because they are just not quite right. But at least the text isn't blurry anymore; that was really painful.

And now that Schrodinger's fixed up, I'll... have to start doing actual work again. Hrm. Let's start with taxes. Forms: 1040EZ (instr), IT150 (instr)

Right now though... I'm going to go have a sit down 'cause I feel sorta tired. Maybe watch some Farscape.

Edit: I've finally uploaded one of noldo_icons' geek icons. This one's fairly appropriate. Never know what's going to go wrong there when i install something new.

I haven't watched the Oscars in ages. So. *shrug* No spoilers on the winners, just really vague references and inane observations.
