Globat is offering free web hosting again. Actually, it's $7.95/month, but there is a rebate coupon for one free year. Basic account is 10GB space with 300GB bandwidth/month. Tominationmedia.net is having server problems. I thought maybe they finally realized I was serving files (even though they're not really illegal) before I contacted support and they said they were having a problem with the server. Now that I think about it, it's possible that they had sent me an e-mail about planned upgrades or something. *shurg* Hey, as long as my account isn't being suspended, it's all good.

Sony stops making anti-piracy CDs - Sony has said it will suspend the production of music CDs with anti-piracy technology which can leave computers vulnerable to viruses. The move came after security firms said hackers were exploiting the software to hide their creations.

Stupid Sony. :-P

I am such a dork. I just bought a new Hawaiian shirt for WashBear. It's funkier than the one I have now and totally something Wash would wear. I also bought a grey shirt and khaki cargo pants, both of which I intend to dye. The shirt will be balck and the pants will hopefully be grey. We'll see how that goes. Heh. I want ShepBear to have an Atlantis uniform. Yep.

Okay, off to do some yardwork.

I blame cassiejamie and shoemaster for the encouragement... and the assistance.

Never thought I'd be making a het mix, but some of the ones I've seen around are just... they HURT ME. So, logically, I thought I'd contribute. Heh. It's not a bad mix, but my brain kept picking things that were so obviously John/Rodney that it was getting difficult. Will post it soonish to get it out and AWAY.

Edit: omg. no. I do NOT 'ship Shep/Weir. Sheppard/anyoftheboys -- YES. Sheppard/girl -- NO. Just so we're clear :-P

On the plus side, I made a post-Trinity John/Rodney mix that's all angry and angsty and sad. I'm sort of blaming tiranog's Resilience, which is a brilliant look at McKay/Sheppard and deals with the fallout from "Trinity."
