spgm argh; hewlett; links

Spent about two hours this morning struggling with the SPGM Admin script. I finally got it to read the index and the gallery directory, and even create directories and upload files! However, I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the thing to read the directories that have been created! Makes no sense. *sigh* So I've emailed the programmer and hopefully will get and answer.

While I was working, I was watching some Hewlett things to review what to send to punkydee. Nothing, Get Down, and the Century Hotel clips, I think. Possibly Elevated as well. yay, Hewlett! :D

I spent the last hours and a half going through my inbox and answering old LJ comments. I still have 1400+ comments going back to last August. Oy.

My lj memories is starting to become a bit full, so I'm going to take a paeg from sdraevn and sign up with del.icio.us and do the social bookmarking thing. Pretty neat and I'll be able to tag fics and add longer descriptions. At the moment I have something like 300 fics added to my memories. Eesh.

Really, really need to clean though. Hrm. Garbage day and all. Meeting queenmaab at Joann's at 4:45. Think I'll use my coupon to buy fun, expensive yarn and make a super-skinny scarf.

First off, I want to say hello to goddessoftea - my friend Arline. She's finally started posting in her lj. So, you know. Go say hello or something.

Just got back a little while ago. Met up with queenmaab at Joann's. I bought some yarn. Is that a surprise? :-P

Got to Crossgates around 6 and bought tickets to see Brothers Grimm before heading to Uno's for dinner. I had fish & chips. Yum! Och, forgot to mention... queenmaab is a sneak and got me a geektastic gift for my birthday. *g* Yay, Best Buy! :D The card was too perfect, too. Oh, and, she paid for dinner. You? So did not have to do that. You rock. I heart you :D

Okay, before I get into the movie, I need to complain about stupid, stupid people. QM and I were the only people in the theater when these two girls and some dude walked in. Where did they decide to sit? In our row. Out of the entire theater full of empty rows! Not only that, the dude decides he can't sit on the other side of the girls - no, he has to sit next to me. Dude, what the hell? Five minutes and I'm starting to get twitchy so I finally figure, "fuck it, this is stupid" and move to the seat on the other side of QM. Honestly, who does that?! Go sit some where else! Cripes.

Brothers Grimm. I'm not cutting because I'm not spoiling really. Heath Ledger was too cute as Jake. Never seen him in such a dorktastic role and I absolutely adored him. Matt Damon was entertaining as Will. I liked him in this. The lead girl (Angela? Angelica? Something...) was like the poor man's Keira Knightly. The film was dark, funny in places, and it was neat picking out the fairy tale references. I liked it :) Will be buying it most likely.

In the lobby, saw the teaser poster for Underworld: Evolution, which I must see. Before the film, saw a featurette for the Doom movie, which I must see because... Karl Urban! Eee! Love him :)

Hey. I got a note from Amazon saying my order was delayed. I totally forgot I had even ordered anything. Two Hewlett films and Elijah's Chain of Fools. Heh. It's almost like Christmas.

Tomorrow, I'm meeting up with Matt to go see Zox & Paranoid Social Club. So I will be missing Stargates and BSG. *tear*

Right now, I'm going to sort my fanfic bookmarks again. I was tagging authors but I don't know... I might untag them. *shrug*
