Already patched the hell out of the system and tweaked every firewall setting I could find a tweak for. Argh. Nothing's worked.

In other news... the Atlantis crew will be attending a panel at Comic Con, Saturday at noon. *sigh* If only I were rich and could just jet over there. Actually, I do have family in San Diego... oh, wait. Father's side. Never mind. But, yes. Flanigan, Hewlett, and McGillion at the same panel!! *envious*

I've not been this obsessed about a show and its cast in ages. Man, I need a life.

Guess I'm gonna head over to the vet's office to get heartworm pills for the dogs now. When I get back, I think I'll find something to eat and work on a website.

errands and things

Uhm. I should not be allowed to wander out on errands on my own. Someone needs to chaperone to keep me on task. On the way to the vet's, I decided to get some gas and stopped at the most expensive gas station in the area. OMG. A quarter of a tank was almost $25. Eesh. The vet's was the only place I was supposed to go and the nice lady sold me the cheaper version of Hartgurad - Triguard. Which.. uhm. Sucks. Because it's a chewable pill and not a meat-like snack that the dogs like. Not that Shao cares - she swallowed the thing whole.

This is where the trip goes downhill... I stopped by B&N to see if they have the Stargate magazine. Which they don't. Am very disappointed. Very. I saw a bucnh of other SciFi magazine, but I really culdn't justify spending $5 or whatever on a two page article someone has likely already scanned. Meh.

So, of course, I decide to go to Old Navy instead. I swear, I went in just looking for a cheap black jacket that I could sew patches on. Instead, I picked up a new shirt from the women's department, and a t-shirt and two pairs of shorts from the boy's department. What? I like boys shorts better. They don't look funny on me and they don't cut off circulation :-P

Now sunddenly I want a yogurt and I don't think we have any.

Hrm. Am going to go forage while the torrent is still going. So as I don't want to smash things when I look at the transfer speed. 6 hours?! *cries*
