eibhinn a bit today. <3
Watched a couple movies that have been sitting around today. The Princess and the Warrior was really good. Great storyline and cinematography. Benno Furmann is pretty. All I Want, which they should have kept as Try Seventeen, was all right. Some of the plot points were odd, but I liked it. Elijah was pretty good, Mandy was a bit odd, and Franka was.. okay. Maybe I need to watch it again. *shrug*
Caught this cheese-tastic movie on WE - Music From Another Room. Jude Law in a romantic comedy. Dude. I love Jude and he was so cute in this movie, but he seriously had zero chemistry with the lead girl. Jennifer Tilly and the guy who played Jesus were a believeable couple, though. The music was painful in a lot of the parts. I might have to get a used copy just for posterity. *g*
Been watching Dead Like me season 1 with my mom. She's liking it, I think. I'm a bit scared for when we get to the episode with Jewel :-P I really need to get the DVD set when I'm no longer broke. Hear it's shiny and there's good cast commentary.
My cousin gave me a gmail account (amezri)... but it's pretty useless since I finally figured out how to setup multiple accounts in my Thunderbird profile properly. I guess I could just use it to transfer large files. I don't know where I'm transfering them to, though.. *shrug* Maybe I'll just redirect all my LJ comments and such there so I can search through them. Heh. That would be a good idea, actually.
John Kerry was on The Daily Show tonight. It was excellent. He speaks very well on an unscripted show and picks up the jokes and dishes them back pretty quickly. Must find a torrent of this because this has to be archived.
Have to remember to call Joe's Pub again tomorrow to confirm that Tom will be there.
