election day delay?

Well, can't say I didn't see this coming:

Officials discuss how to delay Election Day. Newsweek said the discussions about whether the November 2 election could be postponed started with a recent letter to Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge from DeForest Soaries Jr., chairman of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission.

Homeland Security, my ass. They're more like the Department of Fear and Oppression.

Remember when Bush made that comment about not planning to lose the election? I'm scared.

Also from the article: Ridge warned Thursday that al Qaeda terrorists were planning a large-scale attack on the United States "in an effort to disrupt the democratic process."

Gee. I wonder if maybe this could be it?!?!

Gorram job.

Back from work. Am soon to go watch a movie before I Love the 90s premieres.

The last half of work was crappier. Not only did I not get any more orders done, I ended up on a customer call for and hour and half. This woman did not know what she wanted and couldn't seem to answer any of my questions. All the while, I could hear my boss in the background being amazed that I could talk on the phone that well. It's a damn phone, not rocket science.

Then as I left I realized that I never did the order that was due from the 3pm batch. Balls.

First let me just say that I love the graphics for this series - the After Dark screensavers in the background and the pixelated comptuers and cellphones are brilliant.
