I had a dream that I got an acceptance letter from Weta. I remember it saying that I had until such-and-such a date to get to Wellington and in the package was also a bunch of housing info. The picture of the housing stuff showed a big room with a bed on one side and tons of closet space on the other. It was like getting into college :-P

Yeah, definitely working on it this weekend.

crushw_eyeliner - I keep meaning to tell you. Our tomination mail is messed up for some reason. That's to say, it all works okay to send & recieve, but there's three of every folder and I'm not sure what's going on. I'll let you know when it's all sorted.

Starsailor is part of our overhead play in the store this month. I kind of like them. Too bad I'm too broke to buy the CD. I am, therefore, hoping I could win the in-store giveaway :-P It seems kind of silly that I've only now just gotten into them since they've been around since 2001. Erm. I think I remember glancing at one of their CDs while I was in NZ. I dunno. But yeah, I like them. "Four to the Floor" and "Some of Us" are great tracks. May. Erm. Download. Perhaps. *cough*

It's that time of year - taxes. I'm filing as early as I can so I can get my refund. Of course, there's this lump of money I got from winning that contest that I don't know what I'm supposed to do with. Like, am I required to report it? I don't think I made enough money that I will owe anyone taxes on it. I can't figure out where to report it in any case. The instructions say Box 21, but you get to box 21 and it says I can't put it there. SO.. erm. Whatever.

Just to be helpful to people who are filing taxes this year, here are some links to the online forms. They've got the fill-in ones this year, which is kind of neat because you can type all your info in Acrobat Reader and it prints it out all nice and neat.

I did notice that in the beginning of the directions, there was a special note on how to file if you are a parent of a kidnapped child. I find it somewhat disturbing that kidnapping is so common in this country that there is a special section in the tax instructions about it.

Anyway. Taxes are done. Woohoo! Looks like I am going to get about $300 back, between federal and state. Yay. Can definitely use that to pay off loans -_-;; And go to I-CON! Next on my list: cover letter.
