elijahw.com - busted!!

In a post at the site's board, FraudoBaggins has this to say:

Last week TheOneRing.net was contacted by the folks who run www.elijahw.com, they claimed to be running 'The Official Elijah Wood Website'. The tone of the letter left [them] doubting its authenticity.

After a little investigation TheOneRing.net can now confirm that this site is NOT AFFILIATED with Elijah Wood in any way. His publicist remarks 'It is not legit. Elijah has no official site and has not given anyone permission to claim they are.'

Hah. The drama.

let me sum up my day...

Went to work. Put stuff away. Helped find stuff. Met some interesting people at work. Like, workers, who I like. Because they are cool and actually do work. Yay. Bought CDs and LoTR bookmarks - because the bookmarks are wicked. Made banana nut bread again. Is basically time to go to bed. Must remember to tape tonight's Charlie Rose.

It's 9:00pm and I'm contemplating bed. That's just wrong. So very, very wrong.

But before I go.. a completely random topic: my boys. I love my boys. Okay, so they're not my boys, but whatever.

Uhm. Yes. I would definitely say that there's a trend here. Whether or not this works in my real life is doubtful. Eyeliner. Good taste in music. Good personality. Considerate. Dom's dating sense. That's not too much to ask, is it? ... okay, it probably is.

king arthur; weather

The full teaser trailer for King Arthur is up. It's a little bit different from the one Yahoo had up. I think.

I know people have been ragging on this film really hard - bad story, mangling the Arthur legend/myth - but I'm looking forward to it as an entertaining film. I'm not looking for a historical recreation - not that anyone really knows what happened anyway. Jerry Bruckheimer hasn't let me down yet. Clive Owen and Keira Knightley in one film? I'm totally there.

On the weather front, it's -4F (-20C) right now. With windchill and whatnot, it feel like -19F (-29C) which basically means if I went outside, I'd probably freeze to death after about 30 minutes. Though, I never thought I would like to be in Oneonta, where it actually is -14F (-26C) and there is no windchill.

Right. Going to bed now. Really.
