Nov. 24th, 2003 03:30 pmHello people! Thanks for all the comments and stuffs :) I haven't been able to read my friends page, so please do link me if I miss any good news, entries, or piccies ^_^
Uhm, let's see, last night we went to the store for a few groceries. Came back and played Jenga and a 3 hour long game of Monopoly. First time I won like, ever. Was all very fun. Cooked dinner and then.. uhm, went to sleep. How very exciting, eh?
Day 2 - Nov 24
That'd be today. Woke up at the crack of dawn and took a shower. Rearragned my bags 'cause I realized I couldn't find anything. Called my mom and talked for a bit. Was going to take some pictures, but the view from the hostel was crappy. Auckland looks like downtown Albany.. sort of. Today we're hitting Hobbiton and Waitomo.
Actually, we've already been to Hobbiton, and I'm sitting in the Hobbit Hole Internet Cafe here in Matamata. Hobbiton was quite fun and I got some really nice pictures. There was a lot of info thrown at me and I'm sure I don't remember half of it. Oh yes.. dodging the sheep poo. Yay. 'Cause it was a farm. Will need to clean my sneakers very well. XD But yes.. Hobbiton was very cool and we saw the party tree/field and all the hobbit holes that are left. The Alexander farm is gorgeous and I snapped a few nice landscape pictures.. 'cause I like landscapes. Heh.
