Before I left for work this morning, I wrote a big note and taped it to the door. It said "I wrote this note because apparently you don't listen when I talk. I told you not to feed the dog food cooked for people because she will throw up." And Minnie did throw up. I spent 5 minutes cleaning it up and was then running late for work.
Work sucked, by the by. It was crazy busy and people were being obnoxious. Add to that a weird feeling of wrongness about the whole day. I forgot to give people the correct change twice and kept running out of change. On the plus side, I did see an Elijah Wood lookalike.. who looked a slight bit taller than Elijah. Oh well. Had 47s spring up more than a handful of times. I did pick up the new GQ Men of the Year issue - but accidentally grabbed the one with Colin Farrell on the cover [face palm] meant to get the Adrian Brody or someone not Colin. Meh. Oh well.
Anyway, I get home and the little dog is prancing around like she needs to go out. My father tells me not to let her out becuase she just went at 4:30pm. Okay, yeah, but she's doing the pee-prance - like little kids who do the pee dance - they just have to go. So he insists she doesn't need to go.
I'm of course not surprised when 10 minutes later he's yelling at the dog because she's wet her bed. So now he's yelling at the poor dog and calling her stupid and saying that he's going to get rid of her. Why the hell would you do that? She made the signs that she needed to go out - you're the asshat who wouldn't take her. I bet he hasn't cleaned it either. So I should go do that. *sigh*
RP post. I have an urge to write, I really do. And now life is conspiring against me.
