work stuff; xena

The first half of work flew by - I was on register. After my break, I was out on the floor and that felt like it dragged on forever. But it was all right - only a few bitchy customers. Worked with nice people. Told Justin to take whatever shifts from my schedule he wanted, so I hope he does that soonish... since, you know, tomorrow's Thursday. Saw music!boy. Purposely avoided talking to him. So... he would come talk to me. What am I, twelve?

Picked a few gifty items after I clocked out, as well as a travel journal w/organizer and the Xena series finale DVD. It was only like $0.50 more in the store compared to online, so it wasn't that big of a deal.

And because I was at work, I missed all the Alias DVD release party reports. Glargh. corngirl_jo has tidbits here but there are a few spoilers so don't click if you're sensitive.

Um, right. So I watched the final Xena episode with commentary. It was amusing. Loved the added scenes and the Creation Entertainment behind the scenes footage. There can never be too much behind the scenes footage - which is why I love the Lord of the Rings sets. Right, so.. yeah, I'm gonna get the last Xena soundtrack soon as I can find some place cheap enough :-/

Work tomorrow. Dread driving the death mobile. Well.. at least if I hit anything, I will win. Unless it is a truck, then there may be a firey accident.

So.. that auction package.. the tracking number the girl gave me said it arrive August 21st in Brookfield, WI. That is so far from where I live. In NY. o.< So, I hope she's got the wrong tracking number, or even mailed it to the wrong address and can replace it. *sigh* Otherwise that's $40 down the tubes. Dammit. They were really cool arm warmers.

Got to talk to my Sez this morning! Eee! *hugs* Luff her. Miss her.

Chad hasn't started looking for that Passat for me yet, but I can't complain 'cause he's going to and I don't know a damn thing about looking for cars.

Don't have time to really look into it now, but I just got a whole load of e-mails about blowyourselftobits.com. A few of them are dated April 2003, but there are definitely ones dated August that say something about account updates and then one about account temination. I dunno. I do know that it wasn't on my credit card and Dave's bank stopped payment. So.. whatever. I should check it out when I get home.

Have to leave for work early as I am driving the Giant Tank O'Death to work today. Yay. Maybe it'll blow up and I'll not have to go to work anymore. I should leave directions for mom to throw me a party instead of a sad funeral. I hate funerals. Anyway.. only working 4 hours today. Here's hoping it's 4 hours on register. Yay.

server down.. AGAIN

Hostpc is still having issues with ensim2 - which is totally not their fault as the people who serve them are having issues. I'm considering moving to another subnet, but that's annoying what with the massive permission changes I would have to do once it's all done and moved. But again, I don't want to sit here and be paying for dead time on the net. Glargh. decisions. I shall give it another day as it have been working and they are on top of the situation. Maybe I will just ask for free squirrel mail set up as compensation. Then I can serve mail to my hostees. Whee. LOL

Hrm.. maybe it is time to move servers. Blah.

Speaking of.. I have sites I really, really need to redesign. Also want to redo my buisness cards because they are majorly hideous. Don't know what I'd want on the new ones though...

So.. I bought 4 magazines from work today XD Got the last copy of UK Empire with Keira and Orlando on the cover, Sept Interview, Sci Fi Universe with Jen Garner on the cover, and a Photoshop magazine with fun tutorials. $30 right there.

corngirl_jo - I caved and bought Two Towers -_-;; I called my brother and had him cancel Two Towers from my Amazon.com order... 'cause I stopped by Target after work and got it for $15 ^_^** I'm justifying this instant gratification moment with the fact that I saved $2. Go me.

What will I be doing tonight? Not leaving the warm glow of the TV, that's for sure. *eg*

And since I'm talking about buying/shopping/spending money, it's about time I pimped my wishlist, So.. *pimp* ! wishlist ! *pimp*

Well, I know I feel better. Off to forage for food while I watch the preciouss....
