So... not at cashwrap today. Marisa told me to go to the floor 'cause they didn't need me. The floor was completely the boring-st place ever tonight. I answered 2 calls and helped maybe 5 people. Half of them just wanted a bathroom. We had the entire book area recovered by 9:30, so the four of us (yes, there were four of us at Info) stood around and tried to look busy. I hung out in Kids for a little bit, but generally I was straightening shelves. I had no room to put a book in the Business section so I put it on the top shelf on top of some other books... while I was stepping back to see what I could move to make room. Manager Sue happens to be behind me and goes, "Oh no, you can't do that." So she thinks I was just going to leave it there >_< Glargh. I was too flustered to say anything because she moved in right away to put it in "properly" which involved cramming the book on the shelf. I saw her later and told her that I wasn't just going to leave it there, I was going to make room. *sigh*

It was so boring... the MOD let me and another girl out 15 minutes early. So I had time to pick up my bookmarks and the Photoshop book Charlie had used when he was teaching our class. It has some nifty tutorials.

What the hell is wrong with eBay? *kicks it* I need to win thingsss! Actually, I need to pay my credit card bill. Good thing I get paid tomorrow ^_^*

I had the sudden brilliant idea to register lin.net so I could serve sites to my family. I type it in to the explorer bar and.. nothing. So I think "wheee! It's free!" (it's late.. shut up) So I go and try to register it... some fuckwit has it registered for the next 3 years and doesn't have it hooked up to a server or even parked anywhere. What an asshat. He probably doesn't even remember he has the damn thing. I just think if you buy a domain you should at least do something with it. Argh. ::annoyed:: There goes my brilliant plan.

By the by, this all spawned from [livejournal.com profile] fyrdrakken pimping Jiffynet hosting, which has really fantastic and cheap plans. I might buy cynthialin.net hosting from there... not sure yet.

I need new icons. And I missed birthdays. So tomorrow I'm probably making graphics and being arty. Yay! Oh.. and learning how to drive the death mobile Bronco.

Chatting with a couple people and then it is off to bed!

So after ignoring the UN and alienating the rest of the world, now the US wants a multinational force in Iraq. You know what? I hope no one shows up. I'm very sorry for the troops that have already died and the ones that are still stuck over there, but if other countries are forced to help out, what does that say? That the US can do whatever it damn well pleases and the rest of the world will eventually see it out way? That's bullshit.

Have decided that my subjects will actually be subjects. Because looking back I can never find anything.

ATTN: People with the virus infected machine: Please stop spamming me! Clean out your gorram machines. Mail server admins: Clean it out! My freakin' astrumignis mail server keeps trying to mail out a virus then it gets rejected back into my inbox. ::fumes::

Went to get an oil change today.. and apparently the fluid in the transmission was bad. So they flushed it and went to put new oil in. When they flushed it... the rusty patch that was holding whatever together popped out and the transmission line then had a leak. So.. yay. The entire transmission line has to be replaced within a week and the mechanic is probably going to tell us that the transmission is shot too. Mom's thinking of just trading it in and getting a new car and not telling my dad about it all. We went to look at cars after dinner. The Jeep Cherokee still looks like a possibility. Maybe a Subaru Impreza if it's cheap enough 'cause my mom thinks the seats are cheap and uncomfortable. We both liked the 2000 VM Jetta GLS, which was pretty affordable.

My nifty keen armwarmer eBay wins are not here yet. If they don't show up tomorrow, I'm emailing the girl to see if she has a tracking number. If not, I'm going to call and bitch at the post office. Because it's likely that my postal carrier is a lazy ass who probably threw the package out rather than get out of his stupid mail car to put it by my damn door! Noooo. I'm not bitter.

via [livejournal.com profile] crushw_eyeliner: Look! You can buy David Boreanaz's car and spend a day with him!

The sad thing? This auction has been up for 10 days and not one bid has been placed XD Must have something to do with the $78,000 starting bid.

via [livejournal.com profile] really_bad_eggs: Savvy vs Savez

After all the debate, it looks like it is still "savvy." Though after rewatching the movie, I've decided that if you can't replace "savvy" with "you got it?" or "You understand?" (and have it make sense) then you can't use it. Savvy?

For Dead Like Me fans, here's a Zap2It interview with Callum Blue (aka Mason) that contains mild spoilers (and a discussion about trepanning). You've been warned.
