My computer is completely spazzing. I downloaded Duncan Sheik's "On A High" through Soulseek, and it completed just fine - listened to the in-process file as well. Except, I go to relabel it and it's not there. It's not anywhere on either drive, nevermind the folder it was in. WTF? So I try to redownload it and only one person has the file. I try to redownload it, but it's going at 0.2kb/s. Uh... no. So my cousin downloads it for me. I try to download the zip from his FTP, and it's frelling empty. The zip file is empty, there's nothing in the file, yet I just spent 15 minutes downloading 3.2MB of something. ARGH. Cousin rechecks it and extracts the file. Finally, it downloads properly and I've got it. Ugh. In between my asking for it and him sending to me, I'm trying to moves some files over to the D: drive while also playing an MP3... the computer spazzed and froze and then I had to restart. Thankfully, nothing was lost. *sigh*

Saw a "Helen of Troy" ad on USA. I got all excited for a second thinking it was the new Orli film. Then I remembered that they haven't even started filming yet -.\)

On a much, much happier note, I just watched two of [livejournal.com profile] corngirl_jo's Sark videos and.. day-um. I bow to her vidding mastery. m(__)m

Alias rocked tonight. I will comment on it further later. But I'll leave you with: "Jack Bristow will shoot you in the face." Yes. Love that line.

Am watching the Giuliani movie on USA. It's odd and set amidst the 9/11 thing with flashback. Meh.

Need. Bed. Now.

Which Ewan character is your perfect match?

Aww...
amezri: (oh noooos!)
I've been battling this stupid IE problem for the last 20minutes. The address bar drop down would freeze anytime I tried to use it. Mike couldn't think of anything else besides what I've already tried (restarts, virus scan, updates, etc.)

And then...

Jen: have you tried clearing your cookies, temp files and history?
Me: hm.. nope
Jen: dunno if it would help, but it can't hurt
Me: possibly
Me: holy shit
Me: that worked
Me: hahahha
Me: *hugs* You rock
Jen: *bows*

Well... fuck. I never would have thought of that.

Anyone have any experience in legal-speak that could help me proofread a freelance contract?

I hate writing these things...

Everyone go look! Princess Bride icons!! Eee!

Skipping class to go to the post office to mail off Saff's package and have lunch downtown. Because I can.

Ohs. Was supposed to scan pictures... oh well.

[edit: Hello [livejournal.com profile] evemac! ^__^]

The day went pretty poorly. I don't know what's going on. I feel shitty and depressed and this snow and cold is not helping at all. I need some kind of motivation. Or someone to slap me. That might motivate me. ... Probably not. My impending graduation is not at all appealing. I'm not ready to be totally responsible and independant; it's not a little bit scary. Still, I can't be the one who gets left behind just because I'm a chicken and secretly harbor a fear of driving - which is a vital skill in the real world. Sometimes I wonder if I'm purposefully sabotaging myself. It's likely. I've done it before.

The new Linkin Park CD r0x0rs. All must buy.

Had sleezy!mac for dinner. Mm.. sleezy goodness.

Had some war thoughts today as I was heating food. The US is expecting that Saddam will let them check on the POWs because the Geneva convention says so. Um, right. So, you think that this "evil dictator" who is supposedly hiding weapons of mass destruction from everyone, even the sanctioned UN inspection team, and is killing his own people will let you have access to your people for a health check? No disrepect for the people who have been captured, but the US and cohorts invaded his fucking country. If I were him, I probably wouldn't let the med teams in either. Fuck you assholes and your Geneva convention. Gods know you're not adhereing to them. *cough*Guantanamo Bay*cough* What do you think this is, a playdate?
