Alone in the house. Freaky. Creepy. Don't like. Yeah, sure there are two dogs (who wouldn't care if I got butchered) and an alarm system, but still. Gah. I dunno. I'm usually not this spooked. Maybe I shouldn't be watching movies like "Shallow Grave" after dark. Over-active imagination and all.

Finally made a post to the RP. Sorry, gals! I'm slow, I know.

I'm using mom's laptop at the moment because.. um.. well.. basement is cold and creepy. Plus, the laptop is like a little lap heater *g* (Okay, the alarm clock in my parent's room just went off and scared the crap out of me...)

Nearly 4 am. (by the time I post this, it will be) Should probably go get some sleep, but.. hm. May just watch "High Fidelity," feed the dogs their 6am brekky and take a nap.

Today would be Tolkien's one-hundred and eleventy-ith birthday. Or something. He'd be 111. Yeah. Shut up, I'm tired.

Don't want to take the stupid dog outside. She runs to the neighbor's yard through the broken fence (that they won't fix) and she doesn't come back for quite a while. Stupid dog.

Fecking snow!!

Die, snow, die!!

I just spent 2 hours shovelling snow off my stupid driveway. Yes, with a shovel. I don't know how to work our bloody snow blower. And this driveway is huge, just so you don't think I'm some kind of wimp. You could definitely park 6 SUVs very comfortably on it. I think there was probably about 8 inches of snow when I first went out. By the time I got half-way down, another 2 inches had accumulated at the top again.

Stop snowing, damn it!

For all of you out there who have seldom seen snow and love it: It's overrated. And those of you who live upstate and are in this blizzard and still love snow: You're sick. You need help.
