(no subject)

AIM is dicking around.. dropping connections all over campus. People are calling the Help Desk wanting us to fix it, but as I'm told, we aren't even hitting peak usage. Apparently, last night a parent called and demanded that we tell them what was wrong because AIM was the only way they had to communicate with their child. Um.. roight. Is anyone not on the Oneonta campus having problems with AIM?

In other news, barring word from Sezza, I am going to attending the Brooklyn Farscape Convention in November. Gold tickets, bay-bee! I'm going to be purchasing with Oz today or tomorrow. Jake is possibly attending, too. I know people hate Creation, but Gigi is going to be there! Do I have any 'Scaper friends who plan on going?

Not only is the network being testy, but my machine has decided to go fahrbot as well. I'm borrowing Joanne's compy for the mo' as mine is going to be busy for several hours with ScanDisk. I tried to run Defragmenter earlier, but I got some sort of disk error. ::fumes:: I really hate this piece of dren. I can't wait 'til everything is backed up and I can wipe the tralk clean and install Windows XP.

As mentioned, network is wonky, doing that secured server "cannot display page" thing again. I hope it is all better tomorrow when I order my Farscape con tikets. Yes, I have decided to go, because even though Creation is evil, Oz wants to go and Gigi has been confirmed (on her site at least), so I would pay that much to hang with her. Heh. sezzag: have you heard anything yet? :-/

I suppose I should go do some work or something..
