Weird People
Sep. 4th, 2001 11:41 pmThey follow me around, I swear. It's not just guys apparently, either. I was about to leave the Help Desk for class this afternoon when this girl walks in, heads straight for me and just kinda stands there. I ask her if she needs help with anything. She smiles, laughs a snotty little "no," and walks right back out.
What the frell... Anyone want to explain to me what just happened here?
There were three other people in the office who witnessed this and they have no clue either. Though, after thinking on it for a bit, I might have the slightest idea what that was about. The girl was in a couple of my classes last semester. Just to give you an idea of what she looks like, she's pretty much built like an Amazon, has black hair (that always manages to look like it hasn't been brushed in.. oh, about a year) and dresses kind of goth. I'd seen her around campus before - she's loud and annoying. I started wearing gloves last year ('cause of the whole Rogue thing) and then she started wearing them. Actually, she started wearing gloves very similar to mine. In fact, if I remember correctly, she'd wear gloves that were identical to the ones I had worn the day before. And not just once. Oh, no. For the entire remainder of the semester. I don't care that she had them (everyone should own and wear gloves, imho), but it irks me that she was copying me! ::fumes::
Anyway... getting back to the point - I've been wearing gloves a lot this week (gotten lots of compliments on them, btw ^_^) and I suspect that little tralk just came in to have a gander. Maybe that's not why she was there. Perhaps it was a totally different reason. I suppose she could just be insane or be a sociopath. I dunno. Just... why me?!
