amezriCrap. I wake up in the morning and hear the news about explosions in London. I hope everyone there is... well, I hope everyone is all right, of course. Not sure what else to say as I don't even recall saying much when NY was the target of attack.

Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman is teaming up with Intel to launch an online movie-download site that aims to pull users away from illegal downloads of first-run films. ClickStar will focus on making first-run and pre-DVD films available for download. Movie fans will be able both to purchase and rent films from the service.

Turns out to be a whole gorram con job, which is being justified as some private social experiment. Dude. WTF is wrong with people? I know, I know, she raised faith in humanity, but in doing so she did exactly what those of us who don't have faith in humanity expected: she conned a load of people into giving her money by coming to us with a sad, tragic tale. Yeah, she gave the money back, but what about the next sob story? Some people are being overly calm about the whole thing. That's great. I sympathise with the people who are livid because they donated hard earned money to someone who they thought was a friend. Meh.
