work; artbook; music; jf in family album
May. 27th, 2005 12:42 amFelt sick most of today. Still feel kinda blah and get really ill if I move too fast. Still thinking about going to work tomorrow. I'd love to call in, but.. I dunno. There's a lot of stuff that needs doing. I guess.
Worked more on my artbooks tonight. All the covers are made, images are cut, pages are cut & folded. Now all I have to do is sew it all together and afix the images to the pages. I was going to use glue, but the ones I tested didn't come out so well. Think that I'm going to use photo mounting squares instead.
Free music: Heard this on SomaFM earlier this week and the title of the track was too amusing: David Holmes - Slashers Revenge. Yes, yes. The slash has invaded my brain. Shut up. Download. Listen. Is good.
For Joe Flanigan fans on my list, here are clips from "Family Album," originally provided by the lovely
danvers. Anywho, this is total and complete CHEESE, but Joe is pretty. So I'll share.
Links are youshareit (now megaupload), so they should technically remain working until there is no download activity for 7 days. I think. I can't find a statement of how long downloads last at the new place. *shrug*
clip 1: Oh, to be young & gay in the 60s.
clip 2: Lionel (Joe Flanigan) has the worst gaydar. Ever. But he's so cute when he's clueless.
clip 3: Mom takes the news pretty well. Sort of. Dad.. well, you can tell he'd not cope so well.
clip 4: These are actually good scenes with dad catching a clue, then calling John (Lionel's Ken doll boyfriend) a queer, then catching the boys together.
clip 5: Greg (TV's Brian Krause! :D), Lionel's brother, gets shipped off to Vietnam.
clip 6: Greg doesn't make it back from 'Nam (how surprising) and dear dad has sme sort of revelation and apologizes to Lionel and welcomes him back to the family.. as long as he stops acting all gay.
clip 7: Oscar night drama! Joe looks good in a suit.
clip 8: Lionel & John join the family...
clip 9: .. which can only end in predictable tragedy. Why is it always a car crash? How about killer mountain lions.. or... evil bunnies.
clip 10: Lionel & Anne have some words. Plus, Joe Flanigan in swim shorts.
clip 11: Lionel visits the has-been star he used to have a crush on. And asks him on a date.
clip 12: cheeese-filled ending. With lots of prettiness.
Joe is ridiculously cute in this and I want to buy the DVD. So it's a good thing there's no Regon 1 release :-P
