POTC Icons
Sep. 7th, 2003 11:26 pmJust the two for today.
Once again, for those who are visiting and are not one of these people (because you are all cool)
1. Comment so I know where these are going.
2. Credit. Keywords or info page. Icons are tagged. Thieves will be hunted and killed for sport.
3. DO NOT edit. I spent 2 hours per icon tweaking everything and you really don't need to go in and mess around with it more. Really. It's fine. Hands off.
..
Right then. Enjoy! :D

Date: 2003-09-07 11:02 pm (UTC)If you have never created an image with animation before, do that before you try one of these.
The steps I use are generally:
1) Get frames for the animation (I use Quicktime Pro)
2) compile them in Photoshop (each frame on its own layer), tweak levels, link frames
3) create a new file for the icon. Make the still image part.
4) resize the file with frames. drag into icon file. resize more if needed. The smaller the size, the more frames you can get get, but the less detail you will see
5) animate in imageready.
You can find tutorials online for all the individual steps. Just search google.

Date: 2003-09-08 06:40 am (UTC)I suggest linking them so that when you drag them into the new icon file, they will go over all at once and you don't have to move 30+ layers individually.
