Okay, I'm not even a fan of Star Wars, but those robes are too irresistable. I think I like Anakin's Episode II cloak/cape the best.

A lot of them seem to be made using a base pattern from Simplicity... but they are all different pattern numbers -_-;; Best guess I suppose...

Hmm... now I just gotta learn how to sew. Project for the summer! (Yes, this is after I just paid $160 for a cloak commission, which I am not 100% positive I will recieve or like because the girl has been uber-slow. But, hey, dren happens.)

Yes, I looooove the cloaks. Actually, i think I prefer Qui-Gon's from TPM.. that was just boodiful. :) If not, then Obi's one from TPM was cool... not sure if it's the same as his AOTC one, I'd have to re-check.

Going to the fabric store tomorrow to hopefully find a pattern I can use ^____^ Then I'll be hacking up old sheets to test it out. My brother has volunteered to be the guinea pig who'll wear the flowery Jedi cloak *g*

Robes and cloaks

Halloween party I went to the autumn after _Men In Black_ came out, there were a pair of Jedis In Black (black robes, sunglasses, light sabers). I probably have at least one photo of the pair of them floating around somewhere...

And I have spent the last couple of nights/early mornings online haunting eBay -- Ren faire and a few goth things, but I was thrilled at how cheap cloaks are online -- like around $50-60... Course, none of them are Jedi robes -- but then, I wasn't exactly searching under "Jedi robe" either..
