amezriTalked to my mom just now. After about six tries, I finally got through to my grandmother's hospital room. It's Wednesday morning in Taiwan. She's getting another nasty radiation *blah* treatment today and she gets t go home for a few days tomorrow. After that, she has to go back for more treatments every three weeks. I talked to my grandma. She sounds okay. She said that she's feeling much better and can get up and walk around on her own a little bit now. Dis-eases suck.
Watched the Buffy premiere tonight. I really can't decide if I liked it or not. I think this was the weakest Buffy premiere I've seen. Wrote a spoilery, ranty post about it.
There's a 24/5 Star Trek: the Next Generation marathon on TNN. It's so weird seeing the really old episodes from 1987 and then eps from 1990. There was such a huge leap in technology, from special effects to filming quality. Know what else is annoying? Troi. She dresses like a hooker and that accent was so irritating.
Hmm.. just saw Wil Wheaton's little BTS spot for the marathon. Poor guy practically got booted off the Trek set. But it was cool that they included him. And holy frell, Jonathan Frakes looks old. Gates McFadden looks good, though. Her spot is kinda funny. LOL It's just her with a black background talking about how she didn't now Crusher had sex appeal, but she remembered Beverly unzipping her jumpsuit on camera.
Oy... I need to sketch some stuff for Design. Boo.
