We're all gonna die....

My father decided (last year) that he wanted to put a gas fireplace in the basement. I don't know why. Something about increasing the value of the house. Although if that were the case, he might want to finish working on the foyer, the living room, and the roof. Yesterday, he and his friend re-routed a gasline through the basement closet (uh...) and the tiled the floor in which the fireplace is to sit. This just doesn't seem right to me. I'm not expert, but it is really safe to just randomly drill a hole, split a gasline and the route it through a closet? I mean, this isn't some cable or phoneline. My father claims he read the directions, but this from a man who thinks directions are merely suggested guidelines. So I say it again: We're all gonna die. Either from gas poisoning or the resulting *kaboom* I don't know, but we are. And I'm gonna be really pissed when it happens.

On a lighter note, Farscape kicked ass on Friday (review here) and I finished my Wolverine/Rogue "Eyes on Me" video. I'll see if I can upload that later.

For now, I think I'm gonna go make some banners for Joanne's fic page and work on my sites some more. Then try to balance my checkbook (haven't done that since March...) and make the FINO website.
