Uhm. So instead of being productive at all today (yesterday?) I watched DVDs all day. First, "The Island," which was bright and loud and interesting. I liked it a lot. Then I watched something like 7 hours of Roswell before I just finally peeled myself off of the couch. *facepalm* Seven. Hours. I'd forgotten that I actually liked season 2.

zomg. I am a lazy, lazy cow.

Time for actual bed.

Just got back from seeing "Night at the Museum" with Annalisa. It was good fun :D I think I might have to won the DVD :x Owen Wilson wasn't as annoying as he usually is and Ben Stiller was... well, he was Ben Stiller. But it was all really fun. Steve Coogan was Octavius! :D

Trailers... whoa, yeah. There were some really good ones...

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer -- Uhm. I didn't even know they were making a second one, not that I'm super-surprised they did. Anyway, I didn't even see the first movie because I have Alba issues, but this one? I love, love, love Silver Surfer. so the trailer with Human Torch chasing Silver Surfer all over the city? Wins. As does the bit where Human Torch gets pwnd.

Spider-Man 3 -- Okay, the second one wasn't too impressive with all the Mary Jane shoved at us and I think this one will be about the same, but... the black Spidey suit! Alien symbiote! I'm a sucker for all the pretty, pretty webslinging.

Transformers -- Holy frack. How totally awesome does this movie look? Even if the entire plot sucks, it's a Michael Bay film so there's going to a lot of kick-ass visuals and battles and stuff blowing up! There is no bad here. Plus, Shia LaBeouf!

Ratatouille -- new PIxar film. Looks just as fun as all their others (except for "Cars," which I had no interest in). They've gotten really, really great at textures and motion. Love it.

And some trailers that they didn't show, but I enjoy...

Blood and Chocolate -- based on the book. Stylistically, it does look a fair bit like "Underworld," and the theme is sort of similar. But, you know, I love werewolf and vampire movies.

Curse of the Golden Flower -- Zhang Yimou's latest film, starring Chow Yun-Fat and Gong Li. I dig Chinese historical dramas.

Smokin' Aces -- I love a good, loud action film and this seems to fill that. Ryan Reynolds, Jason Bateman, Ben Affleck, Ray Liotta, Jeremy Piven.... awesome. Also, hey, for people who don't like Piven, the movie is about everyone trying to kill him, so... yeah. Heh.

The Painted Veil -- eh. I like historical dramas. Also can't go wrong with Edward Norton and Naomi Watts.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles -- there's a new trailer up! I'm actually not too impressed with the voice acting I hear in it, but, you know, it's a trailer, so we'll see.

Over at [livejournal.com profile] tiscbh28's for the premiere of BSG. Woo.

ZOMG. Amber Benson in Gryphon! A crappy SciFi Channel movie, but yeah. Amber!

Dresden Files so far... kind of unengaging. The special effects are shiny? Maybe the audiobooks will be better. I didn't realize that the general public in this universe knew about magic in, but that works. Wait, they... kinda don't? So confused.

[livejournal.com profile] tiscbh28 on Dresden Files: What is this, let's just parade the attractive women?

Yeah..... I kinda don't care at all about this show.

Battlestar Galactica 3.12: Rapture )

Wow, that was way better than Dresden Files, not that that was a surprise.
