material girls; vm; thirst

Just got back from seeing Material Girls with Alexis. Yes, the Haylie & Hilary Duff movie. What? I kinda liked it. Yeah, it wasn't the most briliant film ever, but it was cute and fluffy. Bonus points for Brent Spiner playing the swishy Tommy Katzenach, Dot Jones (Rosengurtle from Boondosk Saints!) and the Madden brothers from Good Charlotte.

After the movie, we went to Best Buy and poked around a bit. I picked up Veronica Mars season 1 for $20 because everyone has been telling me that I need to see this series. Even Joss Whedon! So. Yeah. At some point I will have a look.

Uhm. There is apparently a really bloody movie coming out with Adam Baldwin, Clare Kramer, Jeremy Sisto, and Tom Lenk. Yup. Three of the Thirst cast members are from the Jossverse. The trailer is really weird. Erik Palladino's in this too, and doesn't he look a bit like Jeremy Sisto, or is it just me? Oh! Matt Keeslar played Lars in Psycho Beach Party! Having another look at the cast list, Serena Scott Thomas was also on Buffy, playing Gwendolyn Post in season 3. Innnnteresting.

I need to go find lunch and then get back to cleaning the house. Huzzah.

Spent the rest of the afternoon and evening cleaning the kitche closets. We threw out about 3 bags of stuff. There is room in the closet now! woot! Now I just need to get around to cleaning my own room.
