cafepress; threadless; sg1 news; soap
Aug. 21st, 2006 11:05 pmMy Threadless and cafepress orders came in today! W00t! The Threadless shirts are awesome and I can't wait to wear one on Friday. Perhaps "Hooray for cholesterol!" I love the geekjumper items I got, though the clock is being a bit irritating. The minute hand is sticking, but I think I can fix it... aslo, I don't think it's keeping time properly. The Tomination buttons and stickers are absolutely lovely and everyone so go get some.
For anyone who cares that hasn't heard the news (and clearly lives in a dark cave), Stargate SG-1 was cancelled. Stargate Atlantis was renewed for season 4. I'm both happy and worried about this. Happy because, yay! my shiny show is still around. Worried, though, because now all the big boys who were happy muching around on SG-1 with their blah blah blah will now be thrown into SGA and I don't want it to slowly turn in to SG1. Yeah, I love Ben & Claudia, but I haven't cared about the show in at least 3 years, certainly not the last two. You know, they should bring Mitchell and Vala over to SGA. I would be totally okay with that.
Cooper wants us to watch the show live to keep the numbers strong. But, you know what, I don't have one of those little boxes that records what I watch, so it kind of doesn't matter, does it?!
Speaking of SGA, there is much wankery going on. Again. But this one is more of a kerfluffle. Anyway. Fanfic etiquette. Seriously, dude, you need to ask first.

queenmaab, mcmi11ions, and punslingerr before we went to see SOAP. Watch Napolean Dynamite, which I have to say was all right. I probably need to see it again to get a few more things? I dunno. Then we watched Boa vs. Python, which I totally love, but I'm pretty sure no one else cared.
After that, we headed to the mall where we grabbed dinner at the food court, met up withsweetwildandmad and went for a showing of Snakes on a Plane! So, you know, stupid bits about the movie behind the cut.
Oh, wait. Top movie of the weekend. The hell did that happen, people? Hollywood just has really crappy films out right now, I guess. ( omg SNAKES! )
